Conference Highlights

Dear Colleague:

Please join us to gain insights from faculty members with extensive experience in the strategies
and challenges related to environmental reviews and permitting for both public and private
development projects.

Those attending this conference – lawyers, the regulated community, Tribes and Native
organizations, environmental groups, and agency regulators – can expect to hear both practical
information and varied legal perspectives relative to the permitting process.

The conference will cover an array of topics that intersect with the permitting of resource
extraction or development projects, such as oil and gas, mining, energy distribution, and public
transportation projects. Topics that will be discussed include:

• National Environmental Policy Act
• Clean Water Act
• Endangered Species Act
• National Historic Preservation Act
• Colorado’s LEAN Permitting Process

Environmental laws and their related regulations are subject to frequent and often significant
changes. Our faculty will share their views of the latest changes and their key impacts.

We hope you will join us in February.
